About Our Priest

Fr. Youhanna Ghaly

• Our beloved father was born in Fayoum, Egypt on March 11th, 1956.
• Graduated at faculty of Pharmacy - Cairo University on 1979.
• Lived at the “Deacons House” of Giza – Egypt from 1974 until 1985.
• Immigrated to Canada on 1995 and obtained his pharmacy license on 1998.
• On 2003 was invited to the priesthood and got ordained by H.H. Pope Shenouda III.
• From 2004 until 2007, Fr. Youhanna served at St. John the Baptist and St. Elizabeth Coptic Orthodox Church in Barry – Ontario.
• Starting 2006, Fr. Youhanna also served the congregation of St. Mary and St. Abraam in Ajax – Ontario.
• Starting November 2007, Fr, Youhanna is serving at St. Philopater Coptic Orthodox Church – Guelph – Ontario.
